Reno Massola, La Habana, Cuba, 1971. Aborda el mundo deportivo, cultural y político del país a través de la fotografía de prensa. Realizó estudios sobre fotografía en la Unión de Periodistas de Cuba, donde cursó un Taller Básico de Técnica y Lenguaje Fotográficos en el año 1998. Posteriormente se vincula al semanario sindical Trabajadores, de la Central de Trabajadores de Cuba y forma parte, hasta hoy, del staff de fotorreporteros de dicha publicación. Sus fotos aparecen publicadas con regularidad en la revista Habanera, del Instituto Cubano de Amistad con los Pueblos (ICAP) y otros impresos cubanos. Ha colaborado con publicaciones como la revista deportiva española Voleyplaya.com y la revista de modas Tendencia, de Venezuela. Exposiciones -Amada habana Colectiva. Currently technical professor of the Faculty of Journalism at the University of Havana and staff photo journalist for the weekly magazine "Trabajadores", a country wide assignment covering many diverse topics including Sport, Culture and Politics. My assignments are also used regularly by : 'Habanera' magazine, published by the Cuban Institute of Friendship. 'Voleyplaya.com', a national Spanish sport magazine, and 'Tendencia', a fashion magazine from Venezuela. I have been a member of the Union of Journalists of Cuba (UPEC) since 1998. 2006 - Designated photographer for the Cuban Educative Mission in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. 2005 - Received mention for Digital Journalism in the National Press contest. 2003 - Assigned the front page for my coverage of XIV the Pan-American and Caribbean Games held in the Dominican Republic. 1999 - A graduate of The Institute the International Journalism (Jose Martí). Majored in Photo journalism (taught by Felix Arencibia and others).
